We at GCR were considering how we could offer something to agents that would be a huge blessing to all involved and we found it!
We call it "Permanent Referrals". This is NOT profit sharing. It's better. You can measure it with a stick.
Here's how it works...
If you are a licensed salesperson anywhere, you can refer salespeople to your broker. Thank you.
If you are a licensed salesperson at GCR you can refer other salespeople to GCR. If they join us, then you will earn a portion of EVERY penny of GCR's share of commissions generated by them for as long as you are both licensed salespeople at GCR! That's innovative in and of itself but we took it another step further, and another, and another, and another! Anyone they refer that joins GCR you also earn a portion of EVERY penny of GCR's share of commissions generated by them for as long as you are both licensed salespeople at GCR. Now, repeat that three more times. It may sound confusing but it is worth understanding!
What really happens is up to you, but here's an example. Let's assume that you refer Bob and he joins. You also refer Sue and she joins. Bob refers two more. Sue refers two more. Those four refer two more each. Those eight refer two more each. Those sixteen refer two more each. That's a total of five generations. Now let's plug some numbers in. Let's further assume that every person on all five generations sells $1,000,000 this year and that they are on a 75/25 split. Using these numbers, each one would earn $22,500 and GCR would earn $7,500. Our permanent referral is 5%, so doing the math, that means that you'd earn $23,250 in addition to the earnings on your own production. Not too bad, but it's almost scary when instead of two, you and everyone else refers three. Instead of 62 agents in your GCR family you'd have 363. Instead of $23,250 you'd earn $136,125!
